Autumn Grasses

As the colour of high summer fades, and Autumn settles in, the colour gives way to golden tones and my delicate slow moving grasses, planted for our now more arid late summer climate, are in perfect contrast to the seed heads, as the dahlia and echinacea begins to die back. They seem to create blocks of abstract colour, alongside the maroon earth of the borders, seen from my studio window.
