MAGENTA Acrylic and Collage on Paper

Come August, the garden is full of Dahlia and Echinacea, a mass of tall, magnificent stems and contrasting flower heads. I’m drawn to planting these particular colours and as we turn from high summer into early Autumn , they are the Queens of the garden. In this series, backgrounds are created separately from the more intricately drawn and cut out collage , which is applied on top.
